Grace Chung is Founder and Principal of Grace HR Consulting, LLC with extensive Fortune 500 experience in the financial services and tech industries. For organizations, she provides HR consulting and special projects work, developing HR practices, policies, and programs. Her client experience includes companies of various sizes and industries, including real estate technology, software engineering organizations, and beauty/skincare.

At Capital One, Grace consulted the Commercial Banking business to explore new strategies for securing top talent within the lending organization. Before that, Grace served as HR Business Partner at Capital One working with technology executives to build leadership bench strength to support rapid growth in the digital space. She co-authored a widely used "unconscious bias guide" for managers and shaped enterprise-wide internal mobility updates. Grace also served as HR Site Leader for Capital One’s Flatiron campus of 500 employees, laying the foundation for an engaged, cohesive workplace culture.

Previously, Grace was an HR Business Partner at BlackRock for two global businesses, as well as a business manager for the Institutional sales organization at BlackRock. Grace established and led career development practices, developed sales role expectations/career pathing, informed sales training, and initiated mentorship efforts.

Grace has built her reputation identifying and developing talent with a focus on both business needs and client desires. She advises senior leadership teams on a myriad of key HR topics, including performance management, talent management, employee relations, organizational design, succession planning, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, compensation, and recruiting.

Prior to HR consulting, Grace was with Goldman Sachs as a Learning & Development consultant for the Investment Banking analyst training program. She began her career in an analytical capacity at Morgan Stanley in the corporate compensation team, designing executive pay structures.

Grace earned her Bachelor of Science, with Honors, in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She served on the Boards of the YWCA of Queens and the Chesterton House at Cornell University and volunteered with Pursuit, formerly known as C4Q.

When she's not working, Grace enjoys family life in New York City with her husband and kids, as well as serving at her local church.
